The Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation (KAHF) has launched a Ramadan campaign in Lebanon. The first part of the campaign, which started on Wednesday 1 June 2016, includes more than 5,100 food packages to be distributed throughout the country to families in need. Phase one of the campaign will run through 5 June.
Members of the Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation will coordinate the distribution of the packages to Lebanon in this first phase. The beneficiaries include the Al Hrar Hospital in the North of the country. Rations will also be given to the Mufti of Tripoli for distribution as well as Judge Sheikh Khaldoun Araimit, Chairman of the Islamic Centre for Studies and Media and the General Supervisor of the Association of Family Development and Awareness. The KAHF will also provide food packages to the Lebanese Arab Crescent and the Community Association of Trashiha Palestinians.
Details of the second phase will be announced at a later stage during the Holy month.
Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group and Founder of the Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation said, “It is our duty to help those in need. I encourage everyone to extend their hand to people less fortunate than themselves. There are many people in Lebanon who are in dire need of basic human rights.”
The Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation was launched several years ago to help improve the lives of people in need around the world. The Foundation has carried out many activities in Lebanon over the years.
