Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor welcomed His Excellency Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the first UAE Foreign Minister, prominent adviser to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Personal Representative to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Al Wasl Road on Tuesday 16 August 2016.
This is the first visit of His Excellency to the Al Habtoor Group headquarters where he toured the premises with Chairman, Khalaf Al Habtoor and Vice Chairman and CEO, Mohammed Al Habtoor.
Al Habtoor and His Excellency Al Suwaidi discussed the latest developments for the Al Habtoor Group’s ongoing landmark developments in line with the country's growth as well as future plans for the conglomerate’s expansion.
Al Habtoor said, “Al Suwaidi is one of the pioneers of the United Arab Emirates and he makes us proud. He has contributed to the progress of the UAE through the various positions he has held throughout his career. He is the first to have read the historic statement of the founding of the United Arab Emirates on December 2, 1971. Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi has a rich past that should be documented for the generations to come.”
