The visionary doyen emphasised that these hard times would not undermine the determination of UAE citizens in bringing this pandemic to an end.

Al Habtoor added: “I hope these initiatives will assist the UAE health authorities in their measures to ensure the health and recovery of UAE's citizens and residents. May this ordeal end soon, and may we emerge from it stronger and determined."

With such support and solidarity from citizens, he added that the UAE would soon be able to overcome these challenges times.

Earlier in March, Al Habtoor allocated a fully equipped building for quarantine purposes to the UAE health authorities and committed to building a specialised research facility for virus and epidemic studies.
