Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman of Al Habtoor Group, welcomed a delegation from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, headed by HE Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the Authority, at the Al Habtoor Group’s head office.
This marks the first meeting between Khalaf Al Habtoor and HE Dr Omar Al Darei, during which the two parties discussed prospects for cooperation in charitable work and the promotion of social and humanitarian values.
Khalaf Al Habtoor welcomed HE Dr Al Darei and the accompanying delegation, commending the efforts and initiatives of the Authority to foster a culture of charitable work in the community and encourage wider participation. Al Habtoor also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat to achieve shared goals that serve the community and uphold Islamic values.
He also emphasised Al Habtoor Group’s commitment to enhancing communication and cooperation with various governmental and social institutions, as well as supporting charitable and humanitarian projects that contribute to social welfare.
HE Dr Omar Al Darei expressed his gratitude to Khalaf Al Habtoor for the warm reception, praising his dedication to supporting charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives. He also highlighted Al Habtoor Group’s significant contributions in this field. The delegation was also briefed on the Group’s key community initiatives and contributions across various sectors.
HE Dr Al Darei was accompanied during the visit by HE Ahmed Rashid Al Neyadi, Director General of the Authority; HE Dr Mohammed Sulaiman Al Blooshi, Executive Director of Endowments and Zakat Affairs; and Dr Abdulrahman Salman Al Hammadi, Director of Zakat Resources and Media. The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group, and Abdulsalam Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of UAE Affairs & Community Relations.
