A Unique Offering: St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor City Coming Soon Courtesy of Al Habtoor Group

08-JUL-2015

Al Habtoor City, the brainchild of Al Habtoor Group Chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, will soon open its doors to the public. The highly-anticipated project will see its first hotel open later this year. The Chairman said the St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor City, the ultimate luxurious brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, will welcome its first visitors in the fourth quarter, with the other two hotels coming on board very soon afterwards.

Al Habtoor added, “I am very proud to bring the St. Regis brand to Al Habtoor City. It epitomizes timeless elegances while incorporating regional inspiration to differentiate itself from other hotels. As soon as you enter the gardens you feel like you have stepped into another world from a bygone era. The architecture of the façade is dominated by Roman-style columns, like the ones you would see at the Colosseum.”

The first St. Regis, founded by John Jacob Astor IV, opened its doors to the public in New York in 1906. The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor City is inspired by Beaux-Arts architecture from New York’s Gilded Age. The ultra-luxury hotel bears all the trademarks you would expect from the iconic St. Regis brand including a grand staircase in the lobby, captivating murals, classic motifs, and sparkling chandeliers. The Gardens include water features, a fountain and a helipad.

“There is a grandeur about the Gardens that makes you feel like you are in the Gardens of Versailles in Paris,” Al Habtoor added.

The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor, the first St. Regis in the city, is a symbol of uncompromising and timeless, innovation and bespoke service. There will be a total of 233 world-class accommodation, comprised of 182 guest rooms and 51 signature suites, including a designer suite and a signature Royal suite. The hotel will offer the brand’s hallmark luxury service to the new destination, including its renowned St. Regis Butler Service as well as an indulgent spa. In addition, it will boast high-end restaurants offering sumptuous cuisine.

The hotel is situated in the new heart of Dubai; close to Business Bay and Downtown Dubai, and a 20 minute drive from Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The St. Regis Dubai, Al Habtoor City shares the same plot as two other Starwood brands, the W Dubai, and the Westin Dubai alongside the Dubai Water Canal and three luxury residential towers.  It will also be home to the region’s first-ever permanent Franco Dragone Entertainment Group theatrical production.

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor said, “The Al Habtoor City development is my pride and joy. It offers something very unique to the city that cannot be found anywhere else.”
